The Story

The earthquake of 365 AD dropped the palaces of the Ptolemies into their own harbour. Under the murk of the Eastern Harbour lie sphinxes, obelisk fragments, and the platform of Antirhodos, the island where Cleopatra held court. Divers glide over granite that watched the Caesars arrive. Visibility is poor; the address is unbeatable.
